Fladen Jackets 846 and 846XY are all-round buoyancy jackets in the Fladen Classic series for those who want practical protection during fishing and boating. As a buoyancy jacket, you wear it like a regular jacket but with integrated buoyancy elements – perfect when you want to move freely on deck and skip trousers. The models suit both women and men.

The jackets are rated at 50N (Newton). This is a buoyancy class that keeps you afloat and makes it easier to swim with clothes on. 50N is a buoyancy aid for swimmers and will not turn an unconscious person onto their back. For your safety, there are highly visible SOLAS reflectors and a whistle so you can call for help.

Comfort and function in every detail

The high collar with soft fleece provides pleasant warmth and protection in windy, rainy weather. The adjustable waist belt allows you to fine-tune the fit so the jacket sits securely without restricting your movements when casting, landing, or mooring.

Plenty of pockets keep the essentials close at hand. Drainage holes allow the jacket to empty water immediately after a dip or rough weather, reducing weight and making it quicker to use again.

Choose the variant that suits your use

You can choose between the color combinations blue/yellow, black/yellow, and yellow/black – all with clear reflectors to help you stay visible. Fladen 846 and 846XY share the same safe 50N buoyancy rating as well as features like whistle, reflectors, adjustable waist belt, pockets, and drainage holes. 846XY also offers warming pockets, providing extra comfort when the temperature drops during late hours on the water or while ice fishing. 846 can also be combined in the two-piece solution 846/847, but the jacket has sufficient buoyancy to be used separately as a buoyancy garment.
